Forget the cheap "Halloween blood" that dries pink and flakes off after ten minutes. Ignite SFX Studio Blood is engineered for the camera—a professional-grade formulation designed to stay wet, glossy, and realistic for the duration of your shoot.
Hand-mixed in our Northern Ireland workshop, this formula uses a Vegetable Glycerine base to mimic the viscosity and light-refracting properties of real human blood. Whether you are shooting a close-up "hero" wound for a short film, dressing a set for theatre, or creating the ultimate cosplay look, this blood delivers cinema-quality realism.
WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
💧 The "Wet" Look (Continuity Safe)
Standard fake blood dries out quickly, ruining continuity between takes. Our glycerine-rich formula is non-drying, maintaining that fresh, glistening "open wound" look for hours under hot studio lights.
🧼 Fully Washable
We understand that costumes are expensive. That’s why we formulated Studio Blood with high levels of Polysorbate 20, a surfactant that prevents staining. It washes easily off skin with warm soapy water and rinses out of most fabrics.*
🩸 Colour Corrected
Real blood isn’t bright red; it’s deep and opaque. We use a precise blend of pigments—including blue undertones—to simulate oxygenated arterial blood that looks terrifyingly real on camera.
